Artist Biography
Valeria Keller is a visual artist whose career began 12 years ago in Budapest, Hungary, as a director assistant at Merlin International theatre. From creating video installations for theatre plays to making artistic documentations, video clips for art groups Valeria Keller also collaborates with artist to highlight important issues within society. Her interest expands to Art therapy, and therapeutic art activities, therefore she creates experimental short films, and photography serials for therapy purposes. Her work has been shown in several places in Hungary and in the UK, including Fabrica Gallery in Brighton and Trapfo Theatre in Budapest.
She finished her film studies at Polifilm Film School in 2006 and studied Philosophy at Eotvos Lorant University in Hungary, which helped her to articulate her own artistic messages. She moved to England to continue her art development at Weston College and studied Fine art and later graduated at University of Brighton as an Art Photographer. She is an experimental artist who combines her previous experiences with her philosophy, counselling and art studies to create her own original and enchanting visual language.
